Today's post is all about an incredible organization I recently discovered: Threads by The Shine Project. In essence, The Shine Project hires at-risk youth in America to make gorgeous bracelets in order to earn enough money to go to college. Many of these kids are first-generation college students, and get this, the jewelry they're making is jaw-droppingly pretty. And inexpensive! Take a moment to check out their website, and order a bracelet for you and one for a friend. Seriously, if you like dainty jewelry, and more importantly empowering a new generation of at-risk youth to make something better of themselves, check out the collection here. They also carry a small line of apparel and necklaces, but the pretty bracelets are my personal favorite. Shine on!
