The North Face is one of those logos you see everywhere living in the mountains (if you have never read the official story of The North Face, it’s worth a few minutes of your time). Their products are some of my favorites to wear for snowboarding and chilly mornings at the lake. I’m super excited to be partnering with HauteLook to promote The North Face End of Season Sale happening TODAY through 8 AM PST this Friday, 2/12. Shop select styles for men, women and children at 40% off here.
Nick and I had a blast shooting photos for The North Face in partnership with this campaign. We decided to opt for an early morning snowshoe adventure up at Hawk’s Peak, which I had hiked in the summertime but never in the winter. Wearing my new vest and jacket definitely kept me nice and toasty in the 20-degree overcast weather. We even had a husky friend follow us up the trail (kindly returned to his owners after the hike, although I wanted to keep him!).
This is my first winter living in snow, and it’s taking a bit of adaptation! My new layering pieces from The North Face are definitely helping the transition. I especially love my new puffy vest as it keeps me warm without overheating. And my new jacket is going to be perfect for a powder day at Squaw!
Do you have any favorite pieces from The North Face? I’d love to hear about them and what you use them for! Let me know in a comment below.
Pictured I'm wearing the Aconcagua Vest and Eleim Insulated Jacket, and Nick's wearing the Vortex Triclimate Jacket.
